coatzacoalcos river

Mexico, a place famous for its beautiful and excellent landscapes is home to excellent rivers full of vegetation and natural water resources, one of them is the Coatzacoalcos river, one of the most important rivers in the country with a very emblematic history around it that today is facing serious pollution problems.

A great amount of activities are carried out in the basin of this river, finding there an important port and also the most industrial zone of the whole state and one of the most important in Mexico, being one of the most productive places in the country, but unfortunately this has been increasing considerably the contamination turning it into the most polluted river in Mexico.

The Coatzacoalcos River is located in Mexico, specifically in the state of Veracruz and Oaxaca, this river is born in what is usually called the Sierra Atravesada, north of this place and in its route it passes through these two states through the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, during its course it waters 32 municipalities, 9 that belong to Oaxaca at the time of its birth and 23 that belong to Veracruz city that it visits to finally flow into the river.

In an interview, the biologist called on educational institutions that are interested in reforesting their spaces to make a request to the civil association Limbo to schedule the actions.

wikipedia
