Web Comics Podcast this Sunday night at 10pm EDT. We’ll be talking about A Moment of Clarity and ComicPress Manager, I’m sure.

And speaking of ComicPress Manager, I’m going to start posting, on a semi-regular basis, technical tips & tricks for Webcomic publishers, primarily ones who use PHP, WordPress + ComicPress, and Unix hosting. I’ll be starting next week with a multi-week series about the more technical aspects of setting up ComicPress. From there, I hope to cover topics like:

  • graduating from shared hosting to virtual or colocated hosting
  • debugging WordPress template hacking
  • how JavaScript can be used to enhance the end user’s browsing experience

and other such topics. I’m realy pushing this site hard technology-wise, and I’d like to share some of the ups and downs of such experiments. Note that these entries will be a bit more technical in nature, and I’ll be assuming that you have at least basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP under your belt.
